OMG... I can't say enough about this place. This was the first time I came here but certainly not the last. The food was delicious!!! As soon as I got out of my car I can smell the deliciousness !!! I was so excited to try everything I ordered and was definitely surprised by the awesome flavors and the freshness of the food! Highly recommend it

Olympic Cafe, San Diego If you're in San Diego and haven't been to Olympic Cafe, you're seriously missing out! I recently had the pleasure of dining there and here's my take on four must-try dishes: Avgolemono Soup: This traditional Greek lemon chicken soup is an absolute delight. The blend of rich, creamy broth with the zesty lemon flavor is just perfect. Comfort in a bowl! Fried Zucchini: Light, crispy, and oh-so-tasty! These zucchini slices are fried to golden perfection and make for the perfect appetizer. Dip them in the tzatziki sauce for an extra burst of flavor. Chicken Breast Plate: Tender, juicy chicken breast grilled to perfection, served with a side of flavorful rice and small side sl. It's a hearty and satisfying choice for any meal. Gyro: This classic Greek wrap is packed with succulent, well-seasoned meat, fresh veggies, and creamy tzatziki sauce. Every bite is a taste of Greece! All these dishes are a testament to the authentic and delicious Greek cuisine that Olympic Cafe offers. Highly recommend giving them a try next time you're in the area!

Oh wow was this place good! Really small parking lot but outside smells so incredibly good it just pulls you inside! They have plenty of indoor and outdoor seating, very beautiful and romantic ambiance. The menu is very large they have every Greek item you could think of and they even had other items like spaghetti, ribs, and much more. Food was phenomenal! The saganaki was amazing and the calamari was cooked to perfection. The salad was probably the best Greek salad I've ever had. The dressing was perfect and I love the amount of feta cheese on it. The shrimp was excellent and went really well with all of the fresh ingredients. I can't wait to come back to try more of the menu. Service was fantastic and so friendly as well! Definitely check this place out!

My date informed me that I hadn't taken her for Greek food in the year we'd been together, and I realized most of the Greek places I'd been were okay, but nothing to write home about. (Greek Chicken is way out in Lakeside, and I'm not making that drive just for chicken, even if it's amazing) Enter the Olympic Cafe, conveniently next to my favorite burrito place. We had Saganaki and Tzatziki as appetizers, and Greek sausage and gyros platters as our mains. They were delightful and flavorful. We really wanted dessert, but we aren't dessert people these days. Sitting in the restaurant is great because they're playing Greek music, the wait staff is friendly and helpful, and the prices are quite reasonable. The only downside is the parking, or lack thereof.

We found this spot a few years ago and was very excited to enjoy Gyros again. Today I ordered my usual for a pickup. I was a little disappointed when I tried to phone in my order because I was on hold for 3 minutes until I finally just hung up. When I placed my orders at the restaurant, I explained to the waitress the problem with being on hold for three minutes, but she didn't show any concern. I have had problems before calling in orders, so I hope the get better with this. I love the food and overall, the customer service is good they just need to get better with phone orders 2024(12)

This is an excellent Greek restaurant. The food is authentic, healthy and delicious. On their menu, they have written a pledge to continue to offer the community excellent food at great prices and I believe they are meeting this promise. Pictured is a deliciously Greek dish featuring meat stuffed grape leaves, "Dolmades", and a hearty braised beef dish, "Kokkinisto." Both dishes were excellent and I highly recommend the stuffed grape leaves. Our waiters have always been attentive and friendly. We're get checked on often as they always make sure our needs at the table are met. There is also ample seating outdoors with heaters and fans as well as indoors. The ambiance is perfect for a casual date or a get together with friends and family. This is my second visit here and I look forward to being a regular here.

First let me say the parking is pretty bad there's only a couple spots in the lot, so expect to park elsewhere. Besides that, I have no complaints. Upon entry, I noticed the low light settings, subtle decorations, and vibe was relaxing. The service was quick and the servers were very attentive. The place was packed but we sat down almost immediately. Once we got seated we ordered a beef kabob plate and beef and gyro combination. I enjoy how everything just pairs well. The entrees were served with salad, bread, and cheese. I can practically eat the bread by itself with the sauce and be satisfied with how good its taste. I can't see myself going to any other Greek restaurant because of how well it tasted. Food speaks for itself. I should've tried out the desserts. Great place to eat, I'm definitely coming back to try more Greek cusine.

Got a tipper from a colleague that Olympic Cafe is THE SPOT for great Greek food in North Park, and my lunch DID NOT DISAPPOINT! The salad was crisp and crunchy with tasty feta, and the gyro was packed with delicious meat. I added pepperoncinis... and they didn't charge me!?! How often does that happen, ykwim!? Lovely servers and decor / ambience is superb. Definitely on my SD short list!
